How hard is it to apply the vinyl?
Our vinyl expressions can be applied with very little effort. Think of it as applying a large sticker to your wall or project. Depending on the size of your expression, you may want to have a few extra hands to help you hold the expression in place while you tape it into place. If this is your first time installing vinyl, you will want to read our step by step installation instructions sent with your shipment.
Can I remove the vinyl once it is installed?
Our vinyl can easily be removed. Using a blow dryer on the expression helps it to easily peel away from the surface. If removing the vinyl from glass, you may use a razor blade to assist you in the removal process.
Is the vinyl reusable?
Unfortunately it is not reusable. Once again, think of it as a sticker. Generally when you remove a sticker, it does not reapply very well. With vinyl, you are most likely going to stretch the vinyl when peeling it off, and therefore distorting the original expression.
Will it hold up outdoors?
We do recommend different types of vinyl for outdoor applications. The vinyl we use for our indoor expressions does have an exterior life of 3 years, however we suggest using our more durable vinyl for applications such as boats, cars etc. If you are interested in creating something for an outdoor application, just let us know.
